Editorial workflow
Updates, corrections and dated evidence
We publish dated evidence snapshots rather than pretending that a static page is a live feed.
Before an update
- Check the primary source, release date, definition and revision status.
- Keep forecast scenarios and observed outcomes visibly distinct.
- Verify that the page title, visible date, canonical URL and structured data describe the same item.
When an error is found
- Preserve the original claim and source version in the internal revision record.
- Correct the reader-facing page with an explanation of what changed and why.
- Link readers to the corrections policy and recheck affected comparisons.
Publication safety
Sample records and demonstration fixtures are not published in the production artifact. Dated pages remain noindex until their underlying records are reverified for release.
