Updates and revisions policy

Publication dates

datePublished identifies the original public publication. dateModified changes only after a substantive update, correction or material revision, not for punctuation, formatting or link maintenance.

Current data

Current pages show a last-verified time and next review trigger. When a source becomes stale or unavailable, we remove unsupported “current/latest” language.

Statistical revisions

Preliminary, routine, annual, benchmark, seasonal and methodological revisions are normal parts of economic statistics. We preserve the old published value and show the new value, release and reason.

Forecast revisions

Each forecast vintage remains a distinct record. Scenario changes are not treated as ordinary numerical revisions without explanation.

Historical pages

Historical research is reviewed periodically for scholarship and source updates. A new citation does not require rewriting settled text; a material reinterpretation receives an update note.

Archived current snapshots

Dated current snapshots remain available with their original information set. Later revisions appear in addenda. The canonical current hub links to the archive.

Update register

The public update register identifies page, freshness class, last review, next trigger, owner role and material changes.
